Dr. Bill Robertson is a superintendent of schools and has extensive experience in the field of education. He graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor of science degree, received his master of arts in teaching degree from Rockford University, and completed his master of arts in school leadership degree from Concordia University Chicago. Dr. Robertson earned his doctorate degree in school leadership from Concordia University Chicago. His previous experiences include: district-level administrator, building-level administrator, board of education president, board of education member, and teacher. Dr. Robertson has served his community as a board member for both municipal and social service agency boards.

Dr. Robertson's areas of expertise in educational leadership are: 1) curriculum, instruction, and instructional technology; 2) school finance; 3) school law; and 4) forming collaborative partnerships.
